My why. 

My whole life I was always looking for something creative to do. Whether it was painting in art class, using sidewalk chalk outside, or teaching myself how to work my moms fancy camera (that I wasn't supposed to be touching) Ive always been the artsy kid.

When I first started taking photos it was at my brother's dirt bike races for fun. Then In highschool I took a film photography class and that is where i truly fell in love with photography and with the art of noticing. 

Film photography taught me how to slow down and notice things. Notice how the flowers look for the sun during the day, how the clouds can create the coolest shadows and patterns on the grass, and how special the bond is between two people who are in love. Photography is all about slowing down to realize the beautiful things that are happening right in front of you. 

After that photography class in high school I started taking all of my friends' senior photos and one thing led to another and it opened the door to wedding photography. There is something so special about people trusting you to capture the most special moments in their lives. And there is nothing that brings me more joy than knowing that this is what I get to call work.
